Moehr Pictures!
Sadly, I don’t have any photos of the Cliffs of Moehr because my camera died before we left Dublin. But I do have some cool ones of us goofing around!
Kiss me, I’m Irish
In honor of Sarah’s adventures on the Emerald Isle, check out this video. It shows us how to etch glass - putting the message “Kiss Me, I’m Irish,” on a beer mug.
Because really, what else would you want to say?
If glass etching’s not your thing, try your hand at making a Shillelagh (challenge to Sarah: discover how to pronounce this word!) a walking stick of the type common in Ireland before about 800 A.D. More interested in crafting in Ireland today? Gotcha covered.
The Sea and the Castle
As we wind our way through the beautiful Irish countryside, I am beaming with pride in my heritage. The Irish people have had a rough go in history, but have always maintained their humor, spirit and hospitality. I love this place!

On Sunday we stayed at the beach - a beautiful hotel overlooking the Atlantic with a wonderful dining room and plenty of Queen Latifah on cable. Last night we stayed at the place I have always dreamed of - a castle! On that Brad Pitt stayed in to boot!
More photos are coming soon - stay tuned!
Etsy Sunday! Shop Local edition
It’s the eBay of crafting, putting us all in touch with amazing crafts being created all over the world. But today, I had a lot of fun with Etsy’s Shop Local feature, a fabulous way to check out some very talented H-town crafters. Like…Komodokat‘s too-cute tofu earrings:

Or…Sherricrochets hysterical 2008 campaign crochet:

Or, the stunning Japanese chiyogami necklaces created by gamiworks (below):

Shop local! And don’t forget the new stamping class next Saturday - maybe we’ll see you on Etsy!
Some Pictures…
Hey hey crafty peeps! Here are some photos of our trip so far! They are kind of few and far between, but I will upload some more when we hit the next town. Currently, we are in Londonderry (Derry to the locals) and will be heading out to Rossnowlagh Beach soon!
