Sew Crafty - New Hours!
Hello Friends!
Sew Crafty will be moving this month to our brand new spot on 19th street very soon, until then - Sew Crafty is suspending our regular hours and will be open for classes only. Don’t worry - we’ll be back open soon and when we are, it’s going to be a lot more convenient!
Starting Saturday August 29th, Sew Crafty will no longer be open on the weekends (except for classes) - we’ll start holding regular hours again in mid-September) and we’ll send an email out about this!

Crafting for the Craftily Challenged Pt. 6
This month I decided to take on another sewing project. I made an adorable tote bag and managed to keep all my fingers and sanity. Armed with a sewing machine, scissors and of course Hello Kitty band-aids (just in case), I was able to actually construct a sturdy functional tote bag. The project took about three hours to make and was not as hard as I expected. Looks like I am not as “craftily challenged” as I thought.
If you ever want to make a project but don’t have the space or supplies— like scissors, a sewing machine, cutting boards I highly recommend taking advantage of Open Sewing Lounge at Sew Crafty. For just five bucks you get plenty of space to work and access to great machines and other supplies. Just check out our calendar for times and dates!
