Crafty Holidays!

Posted by Sarah on Dec 23, 2009

We wish you all the joy of making things and none of the pain of cleaning up after, may your holidays be filled with plenty of fabric for that project and no tricky notions to track down! Also, love, peace and goodwill towards men, women, children, animals and people with two left feet!

PS: We’re closing at 5 today for Christmas and will be closed from Christmas Eve until Tuesday December 29, then closed again for New Year’s Eve and New Years Day, but are open again on January 2nd! Whew - that’s a lot of holidays!

Can you say free holiday meetup?

Posted by Sarah on Dec 07, 2009

I am so behind on gift making - I keep telling myself that I need to start earlier next year, but that is not helping me get things done this year! So that’s when it dawned on me (via Ruthie’s awesome idea to have meetup groups at Sew Crafty) - let’s have a holiday gift meetup! From 6 - 8:30, Sew Crafty will have a free meetup for anyone who needs a place to work on their projects!

Bring your fabric, thread and notions* (Or pick some up at Sew Crafty) OR your needles and yarn (or anything else you want to work on. Man, that’s a lot of “ors”!) to Sew Crafty this Thursday or next (the 17th) for a free meetup! We’ll have warm cider and cookies, but you are welcome to bring a holiday treat to share!

Ho ho YAY!
Isn’t this guy cute? He is one of 73 (!!) Dogs that need a home this Christmas. Check out Pug Hearts rescue for more adoptable buddies!

*for sewing projects, some machine experience required.
