Sew Crafty will be closed at 3 on Halloween!
It’s not too late to decorate for Halloween - how about making this cheap and chic Candy Corn wreath? Check out the how to here!
Tons of students have asked us for classes on how to make chic and easy jewelry - and we have finally added some, just in time for the holidays!
Taught by Kristen Kramlich, a local designer of beautiful jewelry (check out her shop, Frilled & Feathered on Etsy!), these classes are sure to help you cross off a ton of people on your gift list and make something adorable for yourself!

Just added: a brand spankin’ new session of our ever popular Anna Tunic class!
Mod style and clean lines give this tunic a classic look—perfect for any occasion! Make the Anna Tunic in tunic, dress, or mini dress length. Learn to sew with a pattern and make unique button loops for shank style buttons in the back.
The class meets on 11/2, 11/16, 11/23 and 11/30 (skips the week of 11/9) from 7 - 9 p.m. and the cost is $98 (8 hours of sewing - about $12 an hour).

My Mother-in-Law’s wedding was coming up in a hurry and I couldn’t seem to find a dress that I loved - until our shipment of Colette Crepe dress patterns came in! I whipped up this easy, beginner-level dress in a matter of hours (with some cheapo silk shantung from Jo Ann’s) and was ready to dance the night away.
The Crepe Dress from Colette Patterns is available in the shop now - grab a copy and make this adorable pattern in time for all the holiday parties you know you’ll have to go to.
