Crafting for the Craftily Challenged Pt. 2
So my recent adventure into the world of origami didn’t turn out as planned, but I have not given up on crafting. In the spirit of being green and sticking with paper crafting I decided to venture into the world of stationery making. This month I made newspaper stationery. It was super easy and a great way to recycle newspaper.
I found these awesome envelope templates from a company called Paper Source (http://www.paper-source.com). Simply trace, cut, fold and voila! You have your very own hand made stationery—perfect for notes, invitations or anything you need.
Next month I will put down my paper and step into the realm of sewing. Join me for my first ever Sew Crafty Houston sewing class with Sarah Gabbart. For more information just check out our classes at http://www.sewcraftyhouston.com.
If you want more information about this or any other crafts at Sew Crafty Houston just drop me a line at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
Until next time, happy crafting!

Alanna,
Don’t give up to soon on Origami. There are many terrific sites that really do make this ancient art easy to learn.
Please check out my Japanese Club Memebers blog
(http://www.konnichiwa2009.blogspot.com/)there are several Origami links and diagrams on the right side of the page that might inspire again. Origami really can be fun and you can even do it with beach towels!
