Chemise Nightie with Jenny Gabriel

Tired of sleeping in baggy t-shirts? This very feminine chemise will have you feeling ladylike in no time! Learn basic garment construction techniques, proper seam finishes, how to make spaghetti straps, and embellish with lace! Choose to make it from silky fabric or a soft and delicate cotton!

Level: Beginner with experience. Students should be comfortable using a machine for this class.

You Bring:Fabric: 2 & 1/4 yards of 45” wide fabric or 1 & 1/4 yards of 60” wide. Lace: 2 & 3/4 yards of 5/8” wide lace. Thread: one spool of all purpose thread to match. Suggested Fabrics: cotton, cotton blends, silk & silk types, or soft lightweight linen and linen blends.

NOTE: Silky Fabric is TRICKY. If you are new to sewing, stick with cotton for your 1st chemise.
