During this SWEET little 4 hour class, you will make the Ruthie Clutch and learn to make sewing machine buttonholes, sew on a button and use basic sewing skills like: gathering, using shaping curves, working with fusible interfacings and more!

Create a pair of pajama pants from a professional pattern! In this two-part class we will learn to measure, cut and construct our pants using a variety of skills: creating a casing, hemming and finishing seams! Limited to 6 adult (16+) students.
NOTE: For this class, we will use the Sew Crafty machines to complete our project. If you are interested in learning more about your machine, check out our Getting to Know Your Sewing Machine class!
Level: beginner with experience - must have Sewing I and II or equivalent sewing experience (working with fabric, turning corners, understanding machine parts, threading machine and bobbin, creating a project from scratch)

Interested in sewing, but not sure if it’s your cup of tea? Join us for an intro course! Learn the basics of sewing (threading a machine, backstitching and turning corners, basic stitches and straight seams) while making a simple clutch. This is the perfect class to test the waters with sewing and help you build skills so you can tackle tougher projects. Limited to 6 adult (16+) students.

Knit Baby Burp Cloths with Melissa Powers

We Provide: Instruction and fun!
These knitted baby burp cloths will not only impress the guests at the next baby shower you attend but are pretty darn useful. You’ll learn how to do some very simple color-work to create a striped, thick cloth that can later be used as a towel when baby doesn’t need to be burped anymore.
You should be comfortable with casting on and creating plain knit and purl stitches. We’ll only do a tiny bit of purling in this workshop so this is a great class for beginners.
